Jon Bon Jovi's four children were born to follow in his incredible footsteps. The iconic rock 'n' roller is the proud father of his adult children, Stephanie Bongiovi, Jesse Bongiovi, Jacob Bongiovi and Romeo Bongiovi.

Jon shares his famous family with his longtime wife, Dorothea Hurley. The couple, who first met in 1980, married nine years later in 1989. The "Livin' on a Prayer "welcomed her first child when Dorothea gave birth to their eldest daughter, Stephanie, in 1993.
Less than two years later, Jon and Dorothea expanded their offspring when their son Jesse arrived in 1995. They then completed their family with the birth of their son Jacob in 2002, followed by their youngest son, Romeo, in 2004. .

Years earlier, in 2012, Stephanie was arrested for drug trafficking after a suspected overdose while attending Hamilton College. At the time, she was taken to hospital after campus police found her unconscious with a small amount of heroin in her possession.

The 'It's My Life' singer once opened up about the 'horrendous' experience while chatting to The Mirror. "It was my worst moment as a father," he candidly shared of the moment he received a phone call from his daughter in the hospital at 2 a.m.

"The first thing she said was 'I'm fine,'" he recalled. But then she said: 'That's what happened. ... As a parent, you wake up, you shake yourself, you put your shoes on and you're like, 'OK, I'm on my way home .'"

Stephanie's charges were later dropped due to a local law in Kirkland, New York, where the liberal arts college is located, which prohibits the prosecution of those who have suffered drug overdoses. Today, Stephanie would be a model.
Jesse Bongiovi
The second child of Jon and his wife, Jesse, was born on February 19, 1995. Since growing up, Jesse has enjoyed much success like his father. Although he does not sing, the businessman is an American wine entrepreneur.

Before Jesse launched Hampton Water with his father in March 2019, he attended the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. There he played football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

​Jesse has accomplished a lot so far in his young life. While chatting with Closer, he credited his dad for pushing him beyond his comfort zone.

"I think his fans probably know this, but my dad is an incredibly hard worker," Jesse said. He often woke me up in the summer to let me know he had just finished a six-mile run. He works harder than anyone I've ever met...and I think it shows.
Jacob Hurley Bongiovi
The star's third son arrived on May 7, 2002. Although still young, it seems that Jacob, who is also called Jake, has many goals in life.

In June 2020, he celebrated his high school graduation by sharing a photo in his cap and robe alongside his dad. "Congratulations, everyone," Jake captioned the father-son snap.
