Jon Bon Jovi, born John Francis Bongiovi Jr. on March 2, 1962 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, is an American singer-songwriter, producer, philanthropist and actor. He is best known as the founder and leader of the rock band Bon Jovi, formed in 1983.
